Sand Drying Plant Introduction
Drying → Collecting Dust → Screening
Drying: Through disk feeder and wet sand belt conveyor, feed wet sand from moist-material bin to rotary dryer for drying, heated by gas combustion chamber.
Collecting Dust: The dust producing in the process of drying will be collected by dust removal system and cyclone dust collector, fall down to the dry sand belt conveyor. The dry sand will be delivered to the linear vibrating screen for screening.
Screening: The dry sand conveyed by dry sand bet conveyor is screened into different size of sand according to customer’s requires.
Sand Drying Equipments Working principle
The sand drying line consists of a feeding unit, a drying host, and dust removal and discharge equipment. Wet sand is fed into the drum at a uniform speed via a conveyor. Inside the drum, the lifting plates repeatedly lift the sand and gravel as it rotates, forming a material curtain. This allows for thorough counter-current heat exchange with the hot air, resulting in rapid moisture evaporation. The three-pass structure extends the heating time of the material, and the exhaust gas is purified and discharged after dust removal. The entire sand drying line operates continuously and can stably reduce the moisture content of wet sand to below 0.5%.
