Working Principle
The single-drum dryer is a concurrent-flow drying system composed of a hot-blast stove, belt feeder, rotary drum, belt discharge conveyor, induced draft fan, cyclone dust collector, baghouse dust collector (or wet scrubber), and an operation control system. Its working principle is as follows:
1. In the feed zone, the coal undergoes rapid heat exchange with high-temperature hot air, causing moisture to begin evaporating; the material is then guided by high-angle feed plates into the main processing zone.
2. In the lifting zone, the coal forms a "curtain" of material that makes full contact with the hot air; moisture rapidly evaporates into steam and is extracted by the induced draft fan, thereby drying the coal. In this zone, the coal remains in a loose state, and its moisture content drops to 15% (or lower). After the heat exchange process, the material reaches the target moisture level and is discharged.
3. The discharge zone contains no lifting plates; instead, the material rolls and slides toward the discharge outlet, completing the drying process. The equipment can be customized according to customer requirements.

Materials are directly airclassified and conveyed after drying, simplifying the process and improving environmental conditions.
