A 15-Ton Expandable Dry-Mix Mortar Production Line Delivered in Jakarta, Indonesia

2026-06-24 17:10:22

A 15-ton expandable dry-mix mortar production line, customized for a local building materials company in Jakarta, Indonesia, has completed full segmented on-site installation, equipment integration, and no-load commissioning, and has been officially delivered and put into operation at the customer’s factory.

The entire m ixing production line was designed in accordance with the height limitations of the customer’s simple steel-structure workshop in Jakarta and the on-site plant workflow. A fully customized layered installation and construction plan was developed, with future expansion capacity reserved. The production line enables stable mass production of more than ten types of dry powder building materials, including tile adhesive, interior and exterior wall putty, masonry mortar, and more.

Modular Segmented Construction Adapted to On-Site Installation Conditions of a Simple Workshop in Jakarta

In response to pain points such as the unfinished steel workshop, narrow access roads, and the inability of large lifting equipment to directly enter the workshop, the construction process was divided into segments.

The entire steel mixing platform was broken down into several independent modules, including the base frame, intermediate batching platform, main mixer level, and dust collection top layer. These modules were transported to the site in batches and then assembled and welded step by step by a local construction team.

The outdoor vertical cement silo was hoisted in single-section segments to avoid restrictions from overhead steel beams. A mobile screw conveyor with a universal wheel base was configured, allowing flexible adjustment of feeding angles and positioning to match the loader feeding workflow.

Throughout the process, our dispatched technical engineers stayed on-site to provide full installation guidance, significantly reducing construction difficulties caused by overseas workshop constraints.

Mobile Screw Conveyor System for Flexible Adaptation to Local Sand and Aggregate Feeding Requirements

At the front end of the production line, two mobile screw conveyor units were installed as customized supporting equipment adapted to Jakarta’s working conditions, and they also represent a key installation process.

The machine bases are equipped with universal wheels, allowing them to move freely during installation and adjust inclination angles according to the height differences between the sand storage area and the mixing workshop.

Due to Jakarta’s humid and rainy tropical climate, the entire equipment is treated with anti-rust coating, and maintenance access space is reserved during installation so that future cleaning and repairs can be carried out without major disassembly.

Three-Layer Mixing Platform + Outdoor Silo with Reserved Expansion Capacity

With the current output of 15 tons per hour, when the customer expands the business in the future, there is no need to replace the core mixing equipment. By simply adding additional raw material storage silos and conveying pipelines, the capacity can be increased to 25–30 tons per hour.

All steel structures and storage silos are thickened and treated with anti-corrosion protection, making them suitable for Jakarta’s year-round high temperature and heavy rainfall environment.

The entire installation is designed to balance current production needs with long-term expansion planning, avoiding the need for future large-scale reconstruction.
