Product Introduction

The TongDing horizontal dry distillation carbonization furnace is specifically designed for long rod-type biomass materials such as logs, wood, and jute sticks. It features a horizontal structure with cart entry and exit for raw materials and utilizes advanced hot gas dry carbonization process technology. The furnace incorporates a unique carbonization flue gas Back Burning Technology, which maximizes the utilization of flue gas generated during the carbonization process. This technology meets the thermal needs of the carbonization furnace itself, resulting in a significant increase in the carbonization rate from 80% to over 95%.

Furthermore, the furnace is easy to operate, safe, and environmentally friendly. Its high production efficiency enables significant energy savings, making it an ideal equipment choice for carbonizing long rod-type biomass materials. Additionally, the combination of multiple devices using carbonized flue gas in tandem can reduce fuel consumption during carbonization production, leading to improved enterprise benefits.

Working Principle

The TongDing horizontal biomass dry distillation carbonization furnace comprises an inner tank, insulation, furnace door, rail car, combustible gas-burning pipe, dehumidifying buffer tank, burner, exhaust pipe, and thermometer, with the gasifier and flue gas purification device being optional machines. This furnace utilizes the anaerobic dry distillation principle to eliminate volatile substances in biomass material, thereby carbonizing it. The carbonization process involves four steps: feeding raw material and sealing the furnace, preheating and drying the raw material, anaerobic carbonization, and cooling and discharging the carbon.

To feed the raw material, the rail car is used, and the furnace door is locked before finally sealing the furnace. For preheating and drying the raw material, wood or other fuel is used to heat the raw material inside the furnace from room temperature, slowly increasing the temperature to 220-250℃. The duration of this process is about 1.2 to 2.0 hours and mainly depends on the raw material's moisture content, density, diameter size, etc. This process also discharges water inside the raw material and the air in the inner tank.

During anaerobic carbonization, when the temperature inside the carbonization furnace reaches a certain level, little yellow smoke is discharged from the smoke tube, indicating the beginning of the carbonization process. The combustible flue gas can be recovered into the furnace ignition, and the intake combustible flue gas amount is adjusted to keep the temperature in the inner tank at about 300-550℃ for 2.0-3.5 hours. The specific temperature and carbonization time mainly depend on the raw material's moisture content, density, diameter size, and carbonization degree. When the burning inside the furnace stops naturally, the carbonization is complete.

For cooling and discharging the carbon, the cooling water valve is opened, and the inner tank is cooled until the temperature reduces to below 50℃. Then, the furnace door is opened, and the carbon is discharged. This model carbonization furnace takes a total of about 5.5-9.5 hours for the heating-up time and carbonization time, making it possible to complete three batches every 24 hours. The exhaust gas is discharged through the dust collector, meeting environmental protection requirements. The use of 3-5 sets of carbonization furnaces in parallel enables peak-shifting carbonization, maximizing the use of the combustible flue gas to heat each other, thereby reducing fuel consumption.
