Product Introduction

The biomass two-layer continuous drum carbonization machine is a specialized equipment designed for the dry distillation and anaerobic carbonization of materials at high temperature conditions. It is capable of processing a wide range of materials such as coconut shell, walnut shell, apricot shell, hemp, sawdust, rice husk, bamboo, eucalyptus, fungus residue, medicine residue, furfural residue, coffee residue, palm shell, peanut shell, sunflower seed shell, and other carbon-containing small particles of wood materials.

This carbonization machine adopts advanced technology for the recovery, purification, and cyclic combustion of combustible gases such as carbon monoxide, methane, ethane, etc., which are produced during the carbonization process. This technology effectively addresses the issue of environmental pollution caused by the dense smoke generated by ordinary carbonization furnaces used in carbonization projects. Additionally, it solves the problem of heat energy required by the equipment, thereby achieving self-sufficiency, improving the continuity and economy of the equipment, and making full use of agricultural and forestry residues. Consequently, this equipment facilitates the conversion of waste into a valuable resource and contributes to the creation of a green environment.

Working Principle

The biomass two-layer continuous drum carbonization machine is a professional equipment designed for continuous high-temperature heating and carbonization of biomass under the conditions of poor or no oxygen. It is comprised of several components, including the two-layer carbonization machine, preheat wood powder burner (or natural gas burner or gasifier), combustible gas purification device, external heating furnace of carbonization machine, feeding conveyor, cooling and carbon discharging machine, and control system.

The biomass materials are conveyed into the inner drum via the conveyor, and then dried and preheated to a temperature of 200-250 ℃ using the waste heat in the furnace. The outer drum has a combustible gas recovery pipeline, which enables full utilization of the combustible gases such as carbon monoxide, methane, and ethane produced in the carbonization process. The flue gas purification system separates wood tar, wood acid solution, water, and ash, leaving behind pure combustible gas that is sent to the heating furnace outside the carbonization machine for full combustion and heating. This creates a reciprocating cycle heating process, allowing for continuous production.

The carbonization temperature is generally controlled at 700-800 ℃, and the carbonized products are discharged from the carbonization machine through water cooling. Preheating wood powder burner (or natural gas burner or gasifier) is used to supply carbonization ignition. By making full use of agricultural and forestry residues and turning waste into treasure, this machine helps to promote a green environment while achieving self-sufficiency and improving the continuity and economy of equipment.
