The mesh belt dryer is a type of drying equipment that utilizes electrical heating, steam heating, and natural gas heating. It takes advantage of steel mesh as a transmission band to carry various materials, including bulk materials, strips, sheets, and granules.

This dryer is particularly suitable for drying economic crops such as melon seeds, peanuts, sweet potatoes, potatoes, cassava, Chinese wolfberry, red dates, medicinal herbs, melons, vegetables, fruits, and many others.

Working Principle

The mesh belt dryer operates on the principle of uniform distribution of materials onto the mesh-belt by a feeder. The mesh-belt, which typically utilizes a 12-60 mesh stainless steel wire net, is drawn and moved inside the dryer by a transmission device.

The dryer consists of several units, with the hot air circulated separately for each unit. Any exhausted gas is then discharged through a specialized moisture elimination blower, ensuring efficient and effective drying of the materials.
